For TLCS parents with tutors

We think, here at TLCS, that having a tutor is a great opportunity to help your child academically.
We encourage you to actively connect the work of your tutor to the teachers here at school.

If we all work closely together (Student - Parent - Tutor - School Staff), we can make a big difference.
A few suggestions:
  • Have your tutor directly contact our teachers.
  • Have them come to school to meet teachers if possible. They can jointly discuss how school work can be continued in your home.
  • Even though you have a tutor, stay close to your child's school work. Know what they are working on. Help them yourself at times.
  • Expect homework during the week from school. Personally review it with your child as well as having your tutor knowledgeable about all homework.
